Its Raining Men!
Some people just pique my interest and the notorious Hollywood Madam, Heidi Fleiss is one of them. I seriously think she must be one of the most famous Madam’s in North America (at least in my lifetime), particularly having been affiliated with the scandals surrounding notable stars like Charlie Sheen. Talk about business savvy! Talk about taking advantage of a bad situation after her three-year stint in jail for attempted pandering.
So what’s this infamous chick up to that has me so worked up? Well, she’s opening a stud farm in Nevada, which is the only state where prostitution is legal. Back in June 2005 the American Payroll Association had issued a press release reporting that Ms. Fleiss was going to build a brothel in the architectural style of The White House, and accordingly was to call it by the same name, which would have been a bold, cheeky and satirical move on her part. Since then, it’s said that the building will have a castle style, which seems appropriate since the stud farm will cater to women in search of sexual fulfillment from knights in shining, albeit hard shining, armour.
What a cool idea and it’s about damn time. If men can have their fun, then why shouldn’t women have an equally fantastical time! I was actually a bit surprised that the going rate was only $250 an hour. I’d have expected it to be a higher rate considering that models such as James Brandt have been applying for positions, so to speak. Of course, this might just be the low-scale fee to attract a wide variety of professional women in search of the ultimate fuck.
What’s particularly fun about this news is how many people seem threatened by Ms. Fleiss’ move. In a Newsweek article, Steve Friess reports that lobbyists for the Nevada Brothel Association worry that her bordello could pose a problem for legal houses. One has to wonder whether or not this is true, or if such organizations are simply shaking in their sexist boots because a woman has finally taken the reins to cater to female sexual desire.
It will be interesting to see how the stud farm pans out, and equally interesting will be keeping my eyes on the Internet and seeing whether or not this very public business venture creates an even greater demand for web porn geared toward women.
